By accessing or using CreteQuote ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including company administrators, team members, and end-customers who interact with public-facing features.

2. Account Registration & Responsibilities

To use CreteQuote, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Ensuring that team members you invite comply with these terms
  • Keeping your account information up to date, including billing details

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use CreteQuote to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or abusive communications through our messaging features
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or accounts
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or code designed to disrupt the Service
  • Use AI-generated estimates in a misleading or fraudulent manner
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission

4. Google Calendar Integration

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, you authorize CreteQuote to create and manage calendar events related to your jobs and appointments. You may disconnect the integration at any time through your account settings. Disconnecting will stop future syncing but will not remove events already created in your Google Calendar.

5. Payments & Billing

Certain features of CreteQuote require a paid subscription. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your selected plan on a recurring basis
  • Provide valid and up-to-date payment information
  • Accept that subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. You will be notified of any price changes before your next billing cycle.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, code, and design of CreteQuote are the intellectual property of CreteQuote and its licensors. You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to the platform. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

CreteQuote is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated estimates are approximations and should not be relied upon as final pricing without professional review.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreteQuote and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason at our discretion with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
